Service: Civil Engineering | Project: RAC Sewer Investigation | Location: Cervantes

This project involved Lycopodium providing hydraulic engineering services in the form of sewer investigations.

The aim was to verify the feasibility and subsequent cost of an alternative sewer rising main route to one proposed by the previous design consultant.

Project Overview

Stage 1

Lycopodium’s consulting engineers conducted sewer investigations to determine the viability of multiple sewer pressure main routes. They also liaised with the Water Corporation to produce a summary report and cost estimates.

Stage 2

Following discussions with the Water Corporation, Lycopodium’s consulting engineers estimated the viability and cost of an alternative sewer pressure main route. This involved catchment calculations, providing an options summary report and development of a cost estimate.

Compared to the previous design consultant, Lycopodium’s sewer alignment proposal offered a significant saving on capital cost.
