For this project, Lycopodium conducted an asset condition assessment for 98 different buildings in Vincent, including the iconic Beatty Park Leisure Centre.
A statutory review, condition assessment reports and cover sheets containing asset information were developed for each building. The data collected from the condition assessment was then linked to component base lives and unit cost. Lycopodium’s main deliverable for this project was a customisable 10-Year Forward Works Plan with 3 prioritised scenarios.
Prior to completing the project, Lycopodium presented the results to the council in conjunction with the City of Vincent.
Lycopodium’s in-house developed condition assessment software allowed for fast, efficient data collection that automatically linked to component base lives and unit costs.
Working closely with the City of Vincent, Lycopodium was able to tailor the Forward Works Plan scenarios to match the city’s asset management strategies. A risk based prioritisation philosophy was then used to efficiently utilise the budget. This resulted in significant savings that could then be allocated towards building upgrades.
