Lycopodium Infrastructure tackles Melbourne's 'Bloody Long Walk'

The Lycopodium Infrastructure team in Melbourne completed the 35km Bloody Long Walk on August 26th, raising much-needed funds to help fight Mitochondrial Disease

Congratulations to the Lycopodium Infrastructure team in Melbourne for completing the 35km Bloody Long Walk and for raising a spectacular $1,867.62 to help fight Mitochondrial Disease!

In perfect weather, the team joined over 3000 fellow walkers, battled blistered feet & sore knees to complete the course in under 6 hours.

Thank you to everyone who offered support and donations throughout the campaign to help raise awareness about this insidious disease.

Mitochondrial disease (mito) is a debilitating genetic disorder that robs the body’s cells of energy, causing multiple organ dysfunction or failure and potentially death.
